Isabella Catanzarite is being nominated for the virtue of charity, service, and altruism. She often puts others ahead of herself. Isabella does acts of charity in her classroom, school and at home. She often volunteers to do tasks such as running errands within the school building, or taking care of the American flag flying in front of school. She brought in many needed items for the St. Vincent de Paul Society food drive. Isabella also helps out at home with caring for her younger brother and elderly grandfather.
The 2nd annual Christ Is Alive! Essay Contest is open to students in grades 3 - 8 who are enrolled in Catholic school or parish religious education. Click link above for additional info.
Grace is not only kind and helpful to others, she is also dedicated to her work. She tries hard to include others in the classroom. Grace is quick to notice if someone seems shy or left out and will reach out to others to include them. She volunteers to help both students and teachers. She also is dedicated to completing her work well even if it is challenging. She recently finished a longer book, and though it was challenging, she kept up with it and finished. She showed great endurance.
We are doing a Fundraiser Pizza lunch on March 5th to raise money for the 8th grade end of the year class trip. The cheese pizza is from Rossini's Pizza. The orders are due by February 26th by noon.
Addison Hanley is a student that models perspective and optimism. Addison always sees the positive side of things. She will work and redo things until she understands them. When one of her teachers was down and feeling overwhelmed, she drew and hand wrote a super sweet note telling her the day will get better. She is helpful and always volunteers. She loves to help out her classmates and was even seen helping younger students zipping up coats or tying shoes.

Ryan was nominated because he went out of his way to help a preschooler carry in their snow gear on the way in to start the school day. He was very patient and gentle as he walked her to her classroom. Thank you, Ryan, for demonstrating the virtue of helpfulness.
