Camilla is being recognized for doing the right thing! Camilla was holding the door open for the 3rd-5th graders returning to school from lunch. A lady who did not have a badge approached the building. Camilla quickly shut the door and would not let the lady enter the building until she buzzed the office first. The lady had an appointment, but Camilla did not know that. She followed the rules and kept all of us safe by not letting a stranger into the building. Thank you, Camilla!

David showed great patience, love, and compassion in class while working with a partner. Not only did he put forth effort to master the task himself, he walked his partner through the process step-by-step, so that she could be successful as well.
How we spend our time is one of the most valuable decisions we make, because time is one thing we can never get back once it’s gone. Maybe God is calling you to do something more with your time, in this very moment even, but distractions are pulling you in too many different directions to focus.
This week's Student of Virtue is Spencer Bingaman, 4th Grade. Spencer picked up litter on the playground without being asked to do so. This exhibits the virtue of respect for the earth and for the school grounds. Way to go Spencer!
One of the turning points in my life was an email I received from Fr. Joseph Langford, MC. He was close friends with Mother Teresa, and she worked with him to found her order of priests. I had the privilege of getting to know Fr. Langford because I was working with him on a website project, and one day when I was feeling particularly overwhelmed, I decided to seek his advice.
Gabe voluntarily offered to sit with a new student at lunch to help him feel welcome. Other boys joined them, following Gabe’s example. By the end of the lunch, the boys were all laughing and having fun together.
