What can you do to increase Spanish learning?

What are some thigns that we can do at home to imcrease Spanish language acquisition?  Here are some easy but effegive strategies:

1.  Have a favorite video that your family knows well? Watch the movie with the Spanish soundtrack and English subtitles.  Try to see how many Spanish workds you can identify.
2. Listen to Spanish music - there are some great artists like Maná (donde Jugaràn los Niños) and Rosalía (Malamente), Rodrigo and Gabriella, that are great to listen to and are also infused with various aspects of Spanish culture.
3. If you have a favorite book - such as Harry Potter or If you Give a Mouse a Cookie - you can read the Spanish version of the book while you listen to the audio book as you read. Some libraries have the audio books available to check out and listen to online - for free!
4. Listen to Spanish news, watch Spanish children's shows or cartoons, YouTube videos of childrens books or video snippets.
5. Sing along with Spanish children's songs.  Amazon and WalMArt online have great assortments of children's music. Artists like Jose Luis Orozco are authentic culturally and the music is catchy!
