We would like to address our
uniform code , specifically regarding pants. Our uniform codes states, “Only
khaki or black dress trousers or slacks are allowed.” We have been seeing a trend in students wearing black and khaki jeans, jeggings, cotton knit, or stretch-type pants. These are not considered dress trousers or slacks and should not be worn to school. Pants should be made of a Docker’s-type material (not denim or stretch material) and should not be form-fitting in style. They should not hug the legs or ankles. They also should not have rivets, as jeans do.

We realize that the uniform code may have been misunderstood, so we are asking that parents review the images and keep them in mind when purchasing new pants. We will begin enforcing the dress pant style next school year.
