“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” ~Psalm 95:6
Dear Panther Families,
First reconciliation on Tuesday was a beautiful evening for our 2nd graders and their families. It was inspiring to see the children be so joyful after receiving the sacrament. It was obvious they were filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of Christ (and not just excited to go get the cookies in the FBE room). I would like to thank the families, Mrs. Valentiny, Mr. Bagiackas, Mrs. Stopczynski, and Father Bob for preparing the children and making it such a positive experience for the children.
Please take some time to read and reflect on the following article brought forward by Father Bob. It is a beautiful reminder of the power of the Mass. I found it deepened my appreciation and understanding of the significance of the Mass. It may be helpful as you look to increase your knowledge base and “tool box” as you support your child with his or her faith formation.

A perfect opportunity to join us for Mass is this Sunday at 10:30am at our Thanksgiving House Mass. Children may wear their House T-shirt or a T-shirt of their House color. All children are welcome to join the Children's Choir in the choir loft at 10:00am to prepare the hymns for Mass. Families who bring the attached attendance form to the House Mass and place it in the bucket by the doors to the church, can earn points for their child(ren)’s House towards prizes and a dress down pass. The St. Andre Bessette House is currently in the lead with 187 points!
I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents of an important safety procedure at our school. When a visitor (parent or otherwise) is entering the school building, we ask that you buzz the office and state your name and reason for visiting. Please buzz the office even if the door is open with students exiting and entering the building at the time. Students and teachers are instructed not to allow visitors to enter the building. Only the office may allow visitors admittance to the school. We also ask that all persons visiting, for any reason, check in to the office for a visitor pass. For the safety of our students, we appreciate your cooperation in enforcing these procedures.
Last year, we installed a new water bottle filling station on the lower level through a grant. As of today, we have saved the landfill from 9071 plastic water bottles! Thank you, again, to Mrs. Stopczynski for taking on this initiative and to Mr. Remble for the installation.
