We are so excited for this weekend! We have our Jonah Fish Fry tomorrow evening. Please be sure to come and enjoy some fish and fellowship tomorrow evening. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Saturday morning our school is participating in the St. Patrick’s Day parade downtown. I got a “sneak peak” of our signs and “swag” to pass out along the route. Our fifth grade lady Panthers play Saturday in our gym for a spot in Sunday’s championship game.
Tomorrow is a snow day make-up day. School will be in session. Students who previously purchased a Logan Nose-On item may wear green/St. Patrick’s Day tops with uniform bottoms. Green socks may also be worn. Small accessories (headbands, beads) are allowed, but may need to be put away if they become a distraction.
This week our 4th graders have been working on Fairy Tale plays that they will be presenting in class on Monday. Eighth graders learned about DNA and genetic traits in Science and made their own little "children" out of marshmallows. First graders worked on a STEM challenge of designing, creating, testing, and improving their own kites. They will be attempting to fly these next week! See photos in our
website photo album.
Join our school students for Stations of the Cross at 2:15 pm on Fridays during Lent in the church. Stations will also be held at 5:30pm every Friday during Lent. Living Stations will be presented by our 6th graders on April 12 at 2:15pm and 5:30pm.
Thank you for your continued involvement and support. Please join us for Mass this weekend on Saturday at 4:30 PM or on Sunday at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM. Please reach out to me should you have any questions or concerns.
