Today I am writing with a few summer updates, one of which is time sensitive! We are offering the Teacher Tailored School Supply Kits. By ordering a kit, you will receive (most) of your child’s school supplies delivered to your door! The school also receives some funds from the sale. Shop quickly - the order deadline is 6/19/2022. While we previously shared these would not be available, we were able to arrange a sale.
We love seeing our yard signs out in the community. If you don’t have a sign, or need a fresh one, we have one for you! You can pick one up from the parish office between 9am and 1pm, Monday-Thursday. If you know a parishioner or family member who would like one, we have one for them as well!
Transition is always bittersweet. Ms. Kaniewski (kdg), Ms. Lasseter (4th), Mrs. Imus (Art), and Mrs. Boothe (P.E.) are moving on to new adventures and opportunities. We were blessed by their presence and gifts they shared with us. We are in the process of welcoming some new teachers, and some current teachers will be moving to a new grade level. We will share those details once things are finalized.
While the building is much quieter, our office remains busy preparing for summer activities, including VBS. We look forward to seeing the completion of the new office entrance and beautification of the patio area on the blacktop. Thanks to a generous grant, we anticipate new exterior doors on the gym and the reinstallation of the gym windows.
Finally, it was wonderful to see so many of you at the Feast Day Picnic. Thank you to all who helped out! I was asked if I was only back temporarily until a new principal was found. Please know, my return is not temporary. I am all in and fully vested in continuing to serve in our parish community in the role of principal.
Continue to enjoy your summer, and St. Anthony de Padua; pray for us!
