Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means “God is with us.” ~ Matthew 1:23
Dear Panther Families,
During the fourth week of Advent, we light the fourth purple candle and focus on Mary’s open heart as she prepares to receive the gift of Emmanuel ~ God-with-us. May our hearts be as open as Mary’s was to saying “yes” to God’s will for us.
Our K-4 and Pre-K Advent programs were beautiful reflections of this season. We have many photos in our online Advent Event photo album.

Today’s Out of Uniform Day was provided as an opportunity for our students to reach out to the Our Lady of Hungary community with monetary or prayer donations in honor of Jose Juarez Dominguez, one of their 5th grade students who passed away last week due to an unexpected illness. Monies collected in the amount of $731 will be forwarded to Our Lady of Hungary to pass along to the family. Thank you so much to all who donated to this cause!
Tomorrow’s Out of Uniform Day is a gift from Father Bob and I. Please review the Out of Uniform Guidelines. Nylon and cotton sweatpants are not allowed to be worn to school. Leggins are only allowed if worn with a top that falls three inches above the knee. If worn, cotton pants must be loose fitting, otherside they will be considered leggings. If students are uncomfortable wearing jeans, they may wear uniform bottoms with an out of uniform top.
Father Bob and I would like to wish all of our students and families a blessed, safe, and relaxing Christmas Break. If you are in town, please join our St. Anthony Community for weekend and Christmas Masses. Our weekend parish Mass times are 4:15pm on Saturday and 8:15am & 10:30am on Sunday. Christmas Mass times are:
Christmas Eve Mass: 4:15pm with Children's Choir Carols beginning at 4pm
Midnight Mass: 12:00am with Christmas Carols beginning at 11:30pm
