The 2nd annual Christ Is Alive! Essay Contest sponsored by Communication Center is open to students in grades 3 through 8 who are enrolled in Catholic school or religious education. All they have to do is describe a moment they felt close to God. Only one page. Due March 19, 2021. 

If a child in your parish or school wins: 
 

• the winner receives $100 and a Bible 
• the winner receives 20 copies of a book to distribute to his or her classmates: 
  • Grades 3-5: Everyone Belongs, inspired by the Pastoral Letter against Racism 
  • Grades 6-8: Christ Is Alive! by Pope Francis 
• the teacher or catechist gets $100 and a $100-credit at comcenter.com 
• the parish or school gets $200 and a $200-credit at comcenter.com 

Over $10,000 in prizes will be awarded!  But more importantly, students who participate have a chance to proclaim the Good News that Christ Is Alive!
