Dear Panther Families,
Catholic Schools Week is next week, and we would like to invite you to the History Day/Science Fair/Wax Museum Open House on Thursday, Feb. 2nd.
For the past several months, our 5th through 8th graders have been immersed in research projects. They have been working on writing research papers, creating websites, conducting experiments, and making boards. The projects reflect their knowledge of the frontiers of history for History Day, science and engineering for the Science Fair and athletes and inventors (making changes on the field and in the field) for their Wax Museum. On Thursday, Feb 2nd, the Open House represents the culmination of their hard work.
The gym will be open from 5:45-7:00 PM on this date. The 6th graders will perform their Wax Museum promptly at 5:45, and the 5th, 7th, and 8th graders will have their projects on display for all to enjoy!
*This is a requirement for 6th grade students, as their presentations are a part of their final project grade. 6th grade students need to be at the gym, either with their costumes or in their costumes, at 5:15pm.
Please consider stopping in at the Open House on Thursday, Feb. 2nd to celebrate the academic achievements of our students.
Thank you!
St. Anthony Catholic School
Please note: This is a separate "Open House" just for families to come view, learn about, and enjoy the 5th-8th grade's research projects. We do not want to confuse this "Open House" with the school's general Open House on Sunday, January 29.
