Children need healthy, well balanced meals to learn. St. Anthony School offers healthy meals every school day, brought to us by Marian High School.
Lunches were free for the 2021-2022 school year. Starting with the 2022-2023 school year, families will be charged for lunch again (See "Return to Traditional Meal Benefit Eligibility" at the bottom of this page.) The cost of lunch will be $4.25. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. The reduced price is .40 for lunch.
You will still need to place an online lunch order for your child to select milk options and main dish options.
Lunch and milk orders will be placed online the month before the menu begins. The link to order is posted at the top of this webpage under "School Lunch Menu & Order Form."
Please note that we will not issue refunds or vouchers for absences, school cancellations, or field trips. Be sure to check the school calendar before completing your lunch order.
Lunches and milk will be billed through your FACTS account. If you have questions about online payments, please contact our Business Manager Nancy Sacha at 574-233-7169, ext. 102 or at business@stasb.org.
If you have questions about our lunch program at St. Anthony, please contact Shelly Coughlin at 574-233-7169 or at scoughlin@stasb.org.
Plastic utensils, napkins, and condiments will be provided for students purchasing a lunch through Marian. Students who bring a lunch from home are asked to bring these items packed in their lunch, as we will not be able to provide these outside of the lunch program.
Those students who do not order and forget their lunch will be given a PB&J sandwich, a fruit or vegetable, and milk.
The school meals program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, school corporations across the country have been operating with the use of a federal waiver that allowed them to feed every child for free through the end of this school year.
The use of this waiver will not be available after the 2021-2022 school year, and corporations will return to the traditional eligibility requirements for free, reduced and paid meals. This means that for school year 2022-2023, our school corporation will process free and reduced-price meal benefit applications.
Applications are due to the school office by October 1.
