This month we are learning about St. Gemma and the virtue of sacrifice. Childlike innocence, love for Jesus, and sacrifice are words that describe this great saint. She once said, “Jesus, I shall love You, I shall love You always; when day breaks, when evening turns into night, at every hour, at every moment; I shall love You always, always, always.” May we imitate this great saint and love Jesus as she did--always!
During our monthly retreats we have been learning new hymns to sing at our weekly school Masses and at our Sunday Mass. This month we had a challenge! The House which praised and worshiped God the best through their voices at Mass on Wednesday of this week would win a Chick-fil-A lunch. Fr. Bob was the judge (since he sits on the altar and has the best vantage point:-) And the winner was…..Blessed Solanus Casey House! If your child is in this House, they will get Chick- fil-A for lunch this coming Wednesday, March 27th. Be sure to check out the traveling House trophy in our display case in the junior high hallway. Next month we will have a new and exciting challenge--stay tuned!
Please join us for Mass this Sunday at 11am. We would love for all of our school families to gather in prayer for one another, our families, our school and parish. If you are not Catholic, we would still love for you to attend. If you have been away from the Church, please come back--we welcome you wholeheartedly!
