Hello Panther Families!
This afternoon I toured two prospective families. Both commented on how polite our students were to one another and to the adults in the hallways. One of our visitors also commented how impressed she was at how engaged and hard-working the students in the classrooms were. We are very proud of our Panthers!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have an unexpected change in staffing. Kristin Sullivan will no longer be teaching art or assisting with instruction. We wish her all the best as she moves on to new endeavors.
Congratulations to two of our students who were recognized in the St. Joseph County Library Create-a-Bookmark Contest. Aspiring artists in grades 1-12 were challenged to create a bookmark inspired by elements—quotes, characters, stories—of their favorite book. Kaleb Johnson received 1st place and $100. Lisa Maina received an Honorable Mention award. Click

We are excited about the beautiful new carpeting that was installed in the main office, teacher workroom, teacher’s lounge, and library over Spring Break! During Christmas Break, we had 5 classrooms carpeted. The remaining classrooms will be completed during the summer. This new carpeting was made possible through a grant that Father Bob received from the Mary Cross Tippman Foundation. Additional painting will also be done in the hallways and classrooms this summer. If you would like to volunteer to help us with painting, please contact the Parish Office.
There are other small ways that parents can help support our school that take little or no time - that is through participation in our rewards programs. One of our newest rewards programs is AmazonSmile. To utilize AmazonSmile, you link your Amazon account to AmazonSmile and a portion of your purchases are returned to St. Anthony. It's easy, free, and has no affect on your account or shopping options. Click
here for instructions on how to sign up!
Shorts may now be worn to school with parental discretion. Please be aware that we still have some cool days and students will go outside for recess. Also, please check shorts for student growth over the winter to ensure that the shorts still meet the uniform code guidelines and are not more than 3" above the knee.
Join our school students tomorrow for Living Stations of the Cross presented by our 6th graders at 2:15pm in the church. Living Stations will also be presented again at 5:30pm, if you are unable to join us at 2:15pm. This is a deeply spiritual re-enactment of the events leading up to and including the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Next week begins Holy Week and the culmination of the Lenten season. There will be no school next Friday (Good Friday) or on Monday (Easter Monday). Please join us for Palm Sunday Mass on Saturday at 4:30 PM or on Sunday at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM. We hope that all of our families enjoy a blessed Easter weekend.
