After learning about a Hornbill with a damaged beak at the Potowatomi Zoo, fifth graders engaged in the EDP to create a
prosthetic beak that attached to their mouth and allowed them to eat a gummy worm. Each groups beak was unique. Check out some of the successful designs below.
After writing about and
decorating Sugar Skulls in conjuction with Dia de Los Muertes, fifth grade students packaged and shipped Sugar Skulls across the country to students in California and New Jersey. We are waiting with anticipation to hear whether our sugar skulls made the journey successfully.
