Win - defeated Christ the King: 24-15
It was by far the best game the girls have played this year. Everyone contributed to beat a very good team and once again the defense was outstanding. Callie Coughlin and Zoey Coulter led the defensive attack helping prevent Christ the King from scoring on numerous occasions. Grace Hanyzewski scored 12 points. Nadia Donlon and Lanie Tomczak each had 4.

Win - defeated Christ the King: 22-13
Despite injuries, the Lady Panthers played an awesome game last night to beat Christ the King for the 2nd time this season! The girls played their best game of the year, particularly on the defensive end. Lanie Tomczak led St. Anthony with 8 points. Olivia Weaver and Grace Hanyzewski both had 4 points. Nadia Donlon, Emma Nganda and Kamryn Fimbel all scored as well.
Win - Defeated St. Pius: 23-14
The 5th grade boys played a hard fought game and emerged victorious against St Pius on Saturday 1/21. Ayden Chege was the leading scorer with 12 points followed by Coleman Kelly with 7 points.
Loss - to St. Michael: 44-31
St. Michael won a hard fought game against St. Anthony. Gus Markovich scored 4 points and Ryan Johnson scored 3 points.
Next Game: February 11 at 12pm, vs. St. Pius (Green). (@ St. Anthony.) First round of playoffs!
For decades, St. Anthony has enjoyed one of the strongest athletic traditions in the Catholic schools system. The emphasis, however, is not on winning, but on giving all interested students an opportunity to participate in wholesome, competitive activities. Athletics for older grades (5th-8th Grade) are run through the ICCL (Inter-city Catholic League), which means our Panthers compete against other Catholic elementary schools in the area.
For our younger students (PreK-4th Grade), we host intramural soccer in the fall, and basketball in the winter.
