Throughout our history, St. Anthony de Padua Catholic School has been committed to three principles: academic excellence, providing a warm and welcoming community, and nurturing Catholic virtues in our students to reflect the light of Christ.
Maintaining these traditions while embracing innovation has allowed St. Anthony Catholic School to remain beloved by students and parents for over half of a century.
Our children have attended St. Anthony since Kindergarten. We could not be happier with the education they have received. The sense of community and values that are instilled at St. Anthony lay a foundation for a lifetime of success. -Tom Doran, St. Anthony Parent
St. Anthony de Padua Catholic School develops life-long learners who live their faith through stewardship and are committed to Catholic virtues and academic excellence. -School Mission Statement
Situated at the major intersection of Ironwood and Jefferson on the east side of South Bend, we educate approximately 275 children ages 3 through 8th grade from the South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger areas.
Parents and families are encouraged to be an active part of the St. Anthony Community by attending events, joining us for Mass, and volunteering at the parish and school. Our parish serves over 600 families and offers regular weekend Masses, daily Mass, and weekly adoration, Rosary, and confession.
The school exists today because parents like you found it important to educate their children in a safe, secure environment that nurtures Catholic virtues, helps develop character, and cultivates minds in extraordinary ways.
We encourage you to get involved in our school community and let us know how we can help you in your role as first educator of your child.
Thank you for choosing St. Anthony de Padua Catholic School, and thank you for entrusting us with your child. We will work everyday to let their light shine!
St. Anthony’s was our choice from the beginning. The school has always been known for its superior academics, service and faith-based teaching. Our oldest son graduated from St. Anthony and was fully prepared for the challenging academics and service in high school. What more could parents ask for than a school that enriches your child’s mind and spirit in a loving, welcoming environment? -Angie and Phil Faccenda
